Hi everyone. I’m Betty and I’m going to try to fill the ginormous shoes of Harry Harrison. Funnily enough we started GBU and Yarra Yukers together but I got busy and Harry has steered the ship for the last 7 years with only the odd appearance by me.
Now I’m stepping in so Harry can explore the western frontier and I hope I can keep this group going with the same enthusiasm and skill as Harry.
I hope you’ll be kind to me as I sort though your current repertoire and work on new stuff and get the group ready to shine at MUF 2023.
I’ve been a uke player since MUK began in 2004 and began teaching some time after that. I won’t bore you with all the details but somewhere I may put a bit of a bio if you’re interested.
So, greetings, and I look forward to seeing you on a Tuesday evening some time.
