For this gig to celebrate the official opening of the Croxton Community Garden (just north of Croxton Station, Mernda Line (or on Spencer Street, Thornbury), we will play for about 30 minutes from 2:30pm on Sunday 9 October.
We thought we would meet on the west side (outbound) of Croxton Station at about 1:45pm if anyone wants to run through a verse+chorus of the songs.
We will aim to have a microphone and battery-powered busker’s amp for lead singers. We’ll do likewise for Steve’s bass. Otherwise we are unplugged. We’ll have to manage a bit of fancy bluegrass-style swapping around the lead mic for intrumentals!
This should be a nice low stress gig out in the open to provide a bit of musical backdrop to the celebrations, so fingers-crossed for fair weather and don’t forget your hat!
